Stella Mae White, 86, of Chapmanville, departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Dignity Hospice House.
She was born January 30, 1933 in Alkol, WV, the daughter of the late McKinley & Laura Hager.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Estel & Flora Hager and Guy & Janie Frye; in-laws, Eager & Annie White; her first husband, Bill Queen; her second husband, Earl White; two brothers, Ralph Hager and Harry Hager; and one sister, Evelyn Masters.
Stella enjoyed spending time at the Chapmanville Community Center, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Billy Elkins; one granddaughter, Christina “Chrissy” Elkins White; one sister Nancy (Ronnie) Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rocky Chafin officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
