Former Resident Dies in Calif.
  Funeral services for Jacob Ellery Jeppson, 79, were held in Madera, Calif. Thursday, at Jay's Mortuary, and burial was in Skylawn Cemetery, San Mateo Calif. Mr. Jeppson died Saturday at 6 p.m. on Feb. 7 at his home in North Fork, Calif., of natural causes. He was a former Bountiful resident for many years and was a conductor on the street car in Bountiful.
  He was born Oct. 14, 1890 at Brigham City, Utah to Hans Jacob and Dorothy Elizabeth Rigg Jeppson. He attend the Box Elder High School at Brigham City and Ricks Academy at Rexburg, Ida. In 1910 he came to Salt Lake City and began working for the Utah Light and Traction Company as a conductor. Later he was promoted to Bus Supervisor, then became general bus superintendent. Following retirement from the Light and Traction Company he worked part time as a machinist and in real estate.
  He married Emma Oliver on March 26, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Kathryn) Urbina, San Francisco; Mrs. Lauren D. (Viola) Beebe of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Alvin (Velma Hughes) Kimber of Bountiful.
  His only son, J. Ellery Jeppson, Jr. preceded him in death. His wife, Emma Oliver died in Montara, Calif. in 1961. Later he was married to Mrs. Margie Wildgans who survives and lives in North Fork, Calif.
  Mr. Jeppson is also survived by ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Lola) Johansen; and three brothers, Elton N. of Salt Lake City; Leon of Logan; and Orville of Idaho Falls, Ida.
  Funeral services were as follows:
  Prelude, Mrs. Cheryl Fogg; Bishop Nolan Sharp conducted the service. Opening prayer was given by John Thorup and the obituary was given by Velda Whilton.
  "Oh My Father" was sung by Mrs. Fogg; closing prayer by Reldon Penney, and postlude, Mrs. Fogg.
  Pallbearers were Ephraim Rodriguez, Jim Thorup, Nolan Sharp, Donald Hill, Reldon Penney, and Rex Morrison.
