Johnny M. Morgan, 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, 11:00 AM, at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On June 16, 1948, Johnny was born to O.W. “Dub” and Martha Morgan in Roswell, New Mexico. Upon graduating from Goddard High School, he proudly enlisted and served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Johnny was the beloved husband of Pauline S. Morgan, whom he married on May 4, 1967, in Covington, LA. As a result of their happy union, they had three children that he adored more than anything. Prior to retirement, Johnny worked as a truck driver and as a carpenter. He enjoyed driving, but mostly, loved spending time with his kids, grandchildren, and family whenever possible. Johnny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Preceding Johnny in death: his daughter, Lara Wheat; parents, O.W. “Dub” and Martha Morgan; and grandparents: John and Victoria Morgan, and Barny and Nonie Hall.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Pauline S. Morgan; son, John M. Morgan Jr.; daughter, Jennifer R. Ramage; grandchildren: Kasten Ramage, Kaden Ramage, Kannon Ramage, Rebekah L. Morgan (Rachael Fields), Samuel Morgan, Tristen Allen, Emily Wheat (Abigail Wheat); great-grandson, Greyson Allen; sisters: Sue Hobbs, Louise Haley; and nieces and nephews: Julie McCormick, Jay Haley and Deborah Hobbs.
