Sherrie Lea Stephens was born on September 11, 1958 in Wyandotte County Kansas to Lawrence Alvin Stephens and Beverly Gerladine Proffitt. She went to Wyandotte High School until the age of 15 and then moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where she spent most of her adult life. She graduated from Union High School 1977 . She was married twice, had 3 daughters, 7 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter. She also leaves behind one sister a brother, a brother in law and 2 nieces all of Tulsa Oklahoma. She was a joy to be around and remembered jokes and never messed up the punchline. She enjoyed fishing and traveling. Sherrie was traveling with her husband in Lake City, Florida on August 18, 2006 when she passed away. Taken too soon. Forever missed. As Sherrie would say to her daughters. Love you to the moon and back and till the wheels fall off.
