A patient at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital since New Year's Day where he was taken following a hip injury in a fall, Vit Spevacek, 69, 1716 22nd St., Two Rivers, a well known former town of Mishicot farmer, died early Tuesday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery at Tisch Mills.

Vit Spevacek was born in the town of Gibson in 1883, a son of the late John and Margaret Jarus Spevacek. In 1906 he married Anna Dufeck at St. Mary Church at Tisch Mills, the couple taking up their residence on a farm in the town of Mishicot, which he operated until 1943, when they came to Two Rivers. He was employed at the Hamilton Manufacturing Company, Two Rivers, until the time he was injured in a fall at his home.

For 14 years Mr. Spevacek served as a consultor for St. Mary Catholic Church at Tisch Mills, where he had been one of its most active members. A clerk for six years of Pleasant View School, District No. 7, town of Mishicot, he also served as a board director for three years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Luke Church, Two Rivers.

Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Clarence of the town of Mishicot, Adolph of Two Rivers and Ben Spevacek of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Charles Konop, Ewens, Mich.; two brothers, Joseph of Green Bay and John Spevacek of the town of Gibson; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 2 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Tisch Mills:
Mr. V. Spevacek and Miss Anna Dufek were united in marriage at St. Mary's church last Tuesday. The wedding was afterwards celebrated at the home of the bride's parents.

Tisch Mills - Mr. V. Spevacek and Miss Anna Dufek, both of the Town of Mishicot, were married last Tuesday at the St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock am, Rev. Mergl officiating.
After the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, of which many guests partook.
May they float through happiness during life.
