Pete F. Chacon, age 87 and a life long resident of Albuquerque died at his home on Monday May 9, 2005 following an illness. Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Rafelita Chacon who died on April 11, 2005.
Mr. Chacon is survived by one son, Pete C. Chacon and his wife Charlotte of Albuquerque; three daughters, Nickie Chacon of La Jara, NM, Mercy Chacon, and Yolanda Chacon, both of Albuquerque; one brother, Louis Chacon of AZ. Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday May 11, 2005 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE with a service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Garcia officiating.
Interment will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sandia Memory Garden Cemetery. All services are under the direction of: Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE 842-8800
