Mr. Caudillo was born April 30, 1945 in Maxwell, Texas to Antonia (Cordero) and Faustino Caudillo, Sr. He married Aurelia “Delia” Lozano on July 30, 1966 in Lamesa, Texas. He was a retired farm laborer and a Royal Rangers Commander with the Assembly of God Church. Most of all he loved his relationship with the Lord and was very dedicated to his ministry preaching the gospel to many churches with the group “Los Nazarenos.” Amador loved his wife’s cooking, eating corn dogs and Sonics happy hour drinks and his sport cars. He was known for having a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly.
Amador Caudillo, Sr. passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Antonia Caudillo, Sr.; one son, Paul Caudillo; three brothers, Lupe Caudillo, Tony Caudillo, and Faustino Caudillo, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Delia Caudillo of Seminole; one son, Amador Caudillo, Jr. and wife Laura of Mission, Texas; four daughters, Lydia Flores and husband Luz, IV of Seminole, Texas, Linda Wallace and Pedro Rivera of Hobbs, New Mexico, Mary Boyer and husband Gene of Seminole, Texas, and Gloria Morales and Martin Hernandez of Lubbock, Texas; two brothers, Merejildo Caudillo and wife Josefina of Houston, Texas, and Paul Caudillo of Florida; four sisters, Anna Saenz and husband Pablo of Lubbock, Texas, Mary Ellen Caudillo of Florida, Janie Caudillo of Florida, and Paula Caudillo of Beaumont, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
