From John's estate papers: Petition dated Aug. 31, 1826, of Nancy [Agness] Benner, for Guardian of her minor children, who were under the age of 14 years, to-wit: James, Miles, Seth, Mary, George P. and Nancy. Children of her deceased husband, John Benner. -- Court appoints W. J. Wilson and W. V. Potter.
