Robert P. Bonjour
St. Marys-Robert P. Bonjour, 84, St. Marys, died Friday, Aug. 3, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Bonjour lived and farmed in the Onaga community for 35 years and later worked at Capital Iron Works in Topeka or many years.
He was born July 11, 1900, at Neuchatel, the son of Ami L. and Adeline Carrel Bonjour. He lived in Topeka from 1936 until 1964 when he moved to St. Marys.
He was married to Hanna H. Chilson March 11, 1926, at Topeka. She survives.
Survivors include Alvin Louis Bonjour and Bernadine Clare Bonjour Hines , four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, St. Marys. Mr. Bonjour will lie in state from 9 a.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
