Ronald Joseph "Ronnie" Schroeder, 77, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. He was born on December 6, 1941 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late William and Emma (Sprigler) Schroeder.
Ronnie was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and the Floyds Knobs American Legion. He enjoyed farming, playing Euchre, watching NASCAR and IU Basketball, and was the 2017-2018 School Bus Driver of the Year for the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Edward Bennett.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Kathy L.(Auls) Schroeder; sons, Harold Schroeder and Daren (Brandice Sacheck) Schroeder; siblings, John (Patsy) Schroeder, Sheila Bennett, and William Schroeder.
Visitation will be from 12PM to 6PM on Sunday, July 21, 2019 . His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
