Nathan “Nate” Wilson, 75, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Christus Hospital – St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born March 16, 1944, in Evanston, Wyoming, to Barbara Alice Coontz Wilson and Richard Maurice Wilson.

Nate was a retired United States Airforce veteran. He was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and of Nascar.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie Wilson, of Port Neches; children, Amy Wilson Obernuefemann and her husband, Nathen; Michael Wilson and Savannah, all of Bridge City; Dustin Craig Bearden, of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Brylen Craig Bearden; Dade Eli Wilson; Mallory Obernuefemann; and Gabriel Michael Wilson; brothers, Roger Wilson and his wife, Verna, of Denver, Colorado; and John Wilson, of Fort Collins, Colorado; sister, Katherine “Merle” Knowlton and her husband, Dennis, of Denver , Colorado; and cousins, Robert Cotton and Carol Bain.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Richard Wilson; and son, Christopher Nathan Wilson.

A gathering of Mr. Wilson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with the interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
