The family of Cynthia Gail Grant invites you to join them as they celebrate her life. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev E. R. Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
She gained her wings on June 25, 2019, and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jerry Vallair; and brother, Michael Vallair.
She leaves behind to cherish memories her husband, Greer; four children, Ashley, Leon, Nicole, and Shamika; four sisters, two brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews other relative and friends.

Cynthia Gail Grant was born April 26, 1966 to the union of Joseph Valliar, Sr. and Jerry Vallair in Beaumont Texas.
She later moved to Galveston Texas, where she attended school and was a 1984 graduate of Ball High School. She later got married in March of 1992 to Greer Grant and became the best housewife to her husband and an amazing mother to all her children. She was also a babysitter to all of her nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife and mother until she passed away at her home of over 10 years with her husband and children by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Greer Grant; four children Ashley Vallair, Leon Vallair, Nicole Simon, and Shamika Grant; siblings, Linda, Joseph (Darlene), Donald, Sr, Mary (Greg), Yolanda, Omecia; and a host of nieces and nephews; godchildren, Michelle Gilbert, Joseph Vallair III, Spencer Sullivan, and Stephon Strickland; a devoted best friend, Renee Ponce; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends..
