Jacqueline O. Van Wagner, age 88 of Findlay, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Heritage Legacy in Findlay. She was born on December 18, 1930 in Van Wert, Ohio to Ford G. and Marie (Elder) Owens. On May 18, 1951 Jacqueline married Robert M. Van Wagner. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1987. She is survived by their sons, R. Andrew (Linda) Van Wagner and Matthew (Patti) Van Wagner; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and a sister Dorcas Kerr. She was preceded in death by siblings Betty Ann Gibson and Robert Owens. Jacqueline graduated from Van Wert High School and then attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. She was a member of the Blanchard Valley Auxiliary, First Presbyterian Church in Findlay, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority Indiana Epsilon Chapter since March 1949. A memorial service will be held to honor Jacqueline on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME 500 Lima Ave Findlay, Ohio 45840, with Jessica Commeret Myers officiating. Burial will be private at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Humane Society and SPCA of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
