Jane K. Perkins, 94, of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Iron Mountain, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Alexian Village of Milwaukee.
Jane was born November 8, 1919 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Weir) Halfpap. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1938. Jane married Donald "Perk" Perkins on July 6, 1946 in Green Bay WI and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1996. She was a member of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church and resided in Iron Mountain for many years. For the past five years she has lived in Milwaukee. Jane enjoyed reading and loved good conversations.
She is survived by two sons, James Perkins of Milwaukee and Daniel Perkins of Iron Mountain; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Perkins
Visitation will be held on January 6, 2014 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will follow at 12:30pm at the church. Fr. Daniel Zaloga will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Ontonagon, MI.
