Shirley Mae Timmons, age 72, of Ozark, died Monday, May 11, 1998, in her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., and was the daughter of Archie W and Minnie (Strom) Jones. On Oct. 13, 1961, she married Ronald Timmons. She retired as an executive secretary for the U.S. government. Mrs. Timmons was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include: her husband, Ronald, a daughter, Roxane Young and her husband, Steve, New Market, Va.; a granddaughter, Sandy Schultz, Zion, Ill.; a brother, Arch Jones, and a sister, Marilyn Patton, both of Ozark. A graveside funeral was Friday, May 15, 1998, in Hopedale Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Weeks officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
