Crispen was the son of Daniel(Son of Thomas) and Sarah (Norris)/Treadway/Tredway. Sarah was the daughter of Hannah (Scott) and Edward Norris. The parents of Crispen were married August 2, 1744 in the Spesutiae Church, Upper Node Forest, Harford Co., Maryland. Daniel Tredway died May 25, 1810. He and Sarah are buried on the homestead at Upper Node Forest where Crispin was born. Crispin married Elizabeth Peteet on October 13, 1794 in Harford Co. MD and later migrated to Coshocton County, Ohio. Their children were: John Nov 6, 1796,Thomas August 18, 1799, Elizabeth May 5,1802,Hannah Feb 2,1805,Mary Dec 29,1809,(Corbin Oct 11, 1811 he married Mary, born abt.1814 in Ohio and both her parents were born in Va. They are living next door to Achsah (Randles)Williams Foster in Jackson Twp., Ohio in 1850. Corbin & Mary moved to Livingston co. Mo. 1870 then Cowley co. Kansas in 1880 listed under Corbin Freadway) and Sarah E. Feb 20, 1817. All the children were born in Harford Co., MD. I have a special interest in Crispen Treadway, as he is a witness on Martha ? Randles' deed. Martha is my 4th gr. grandmother.
