Steven Glenn Knapp, 62, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:35 A.M., Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his residence.

Glenn had done farm work and had worked for Hagler Furniture. Glenn was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his cat. Glenn also enjoyed making animal bead key chains. He loved to mow yards and till the garden in the springtime. Glenn enjoyed fishing with his mother.

He was born July 6, 1957 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Walter and Helen Jean (Ferguson) Knapp.

He is survived by his mother - Helen Jean Knapp of Du Quoin, one sister - B. Fann and husband Gary of Du Quoin, four nieces, one nephew, and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister - Carolyn Pitman.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin with Rev. Gary Pate officiating.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.
