Ronald Roy Williamson Sr. was born on October 8, 1946 in a boxcar in Maytoy, OK to Roy Lee and Viola Jane (Gray) Williamson. Ron passed away on July 13, 2019 at his home in Armstrong at the age of 72.

Ron has been a lifelong resident of Bryan County. Ron proudly served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1965-1972. Ron and his soul mate and best friend for 21 years, Donna Lee Chartier have operated Family Health Food Store in Durant since 1992. He was a member of the Blast from the Past Car Club and was past president. He was of the Presbyterian faith and he enjoyed woodworking and old cars. Ron dearly loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Alyssa Oswald and brothers, Coy, Bud and Donald Williamson.

Ron is survived by his children, J.R. Williamson and wife Tonya, Brent Williamson, Lisa Dawn Covington and husband Scott, Tara Champion and husband Francis, Jana Marksberry and husband Ronnie, Debra Higgins and Carol Lervig; soul mate, Donna Lee Chartier; grandchildren, Levi Williamson, Cristen Vandenburg, Heather Ross, Shawn Williamson, Veronica Ward, Leighann Barnes, Preston May, Brittany Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Zane Champion, Marley Champion, Jazmyn Oswald and Jonathan Marksberry and wife Kathy numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
