Joy Benny Wilson, 78, of Waco, died Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Memorial Service: Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma

Joy was born December 5, 1940, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Irving and Marguerite Benny. She graduated from Cushing High School Class of ’59. She spent some time at Oklahoma State University before beginning a family.

She had an infectious smile and a very sweet heart. She will be remembered fondly by all those who loved her.

She is survived by her six children and their families, Lori McMichael and husband, Brad of Waco, Kelli Kitchens and husband, John of San Antonio, Kevin Wilson and wife, Tina of Waco, Robert Wilson and wife, Deanna of Waco; daughters, Kristin Zarraga and Kara Wilson both of Waco. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zachary and Bayley McMichael of Waco, Ashley Taylor and Cassie Reid of Waco, Megan and J.C. Kitchens of San Antonio and Ella and Elana Wilson of Waco. She also had numerous friends whom she fondly adored.
