On Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 5:38 a.m., the hand of Almighty God quietly touched the soul of our beloved Teresa, rescuing her from pain and suffering.
Teresa received her formal education in the Baltimore Public School system. She graduated from Lake Clifton High School. She also attended and graduated from Towson State University (now Towson University).
Teresa accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, initially as an Episcopalian. She later joined and was baptized at the Faith Baptist Church. Teresa was a dedicated member and served faithfully on the usher board until her illness prevented her from attending.
Teresa never had any children of her own. She devoted her time to loving and spoiling Amber, Anaia and Erich. They were the joys of her life.
Teresa loved to go shopping. There wasn’t a sale that she didn’t know about. If she wasn’t out shopping she could be found talking on the phone or watching her favorite show Family Feud.
Teresa worked at MDPSCS until she transferred to Maryland Parole and Probation. She worked until her health began to fail.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved godmother, Daisy McLean; cousins, Arnold Jordan, Jr. (Alice), Aaron Jordan, Sr. (Alisa), Kamau Jordan, Tamiko Wright, Kendra Jordan and Kareem Jordan; brother-in-law, Joseph L. Bennett III; one brother, Lionel E. Berry, Jr.; one sister, Shawna Berry; god sister, Michele Franklin; one godson, Deitrick Franklin and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
