Sarah F. Aili, 79, of Ironwood, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, in Wakefield, MI.
She was born Dec. 14, 1935, in Ironwood, to the late Henry and Minnie (Kangas) Aili.
Graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood. She was a child care provider for the Aili and Kangas families, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She had also been employed at the Daily Globe in the mail room, was a ticket taker at the Gogebic County Fair, helped out at the Ironwood Senior Center, and was employed as custodian at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironwood until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry, and his wife, Carol; a nephew, Gregory Aili; and a niece, Eva (Aili) Bennett.
Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
