Sara K. Peters, 84, of Loveland, passed away February, 5 2010. Sara was born May 7, 1925 to Peter and Anna Friesen in Jansen, Nebraska.

Sara married Howard L. Peters October 22, 1966. They lived in Hastings, NE before moving to Loveland February 19, 1977. Sara had a Bachelor's Degree in nursing and worked as an RN. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and Bible study.

Sara is survived by her stepson, Max (Marcia) Peters of Loveland; brother, Abe Friesen of McPherson, KS; sister, Lena K. Friesen of Jansen, NE; grandchildren Travis (Eve) Peters of Loveland, Jeff (Chama) Peters of Loveland; and great grandchildren Kiara, Mikayla, Jalen, Jasmine and Tristan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Galilee Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Galilee Baptist Church in c/o of Allnutt Funeral Service.--Allnutt Funeral Service
