Mr. Rodney Wayne Phillips, age 65, of Vancleave, Mississippi, formerly of the Hulaco area, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Singing River Medical Center in Mississippi.

Mr. Phillips was born on August 12, 1953, in Anniston, Al. to James Arnold Phillips & Bobbie Jo Quick Milam. He retired from Redstone Arsenal where he worked as a logistics specialist. He was married to the late Mrs. Karen Virginia Sparks Phillips who passed July 18, 2007. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson alongside a Christian motorcycle group. In his past time he watched Alabama football, went fishing and loved helping people in need.
He was a member of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in which he helped build. He had later been attending Ramsey Hill Baptist.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother & sister-in-law, and sister.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Arnold Phillips & Bobbie Jo Quick Milam; wife, Karen Virginia Sparks Phillips; brothers, Danny Joe Quick, Tony Phillips, Keith Phillips, Darrell Phillips.

Funeral service was July 15, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
