Jonathan M. Thompson

Age 45, of Moraine, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born August 16, 1973 in Peru, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa (Crews) Thompson in 2015.

Jon was the owner of H. D. Commercial Flooring, and a member of St. Johns’ Masonic Lodge # 13 F&AM, the Antioch Shrine – Bobbies Unit, and the Widows Sons Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, shooting, re-loading, woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.

Jon is survived by his loving wife of the past 19 years, Pamela (Myers) Thompson; his father, Fredd Thompson (Katie); three children, Dylan Thompson (Karah), Tarry Landrigan (Kristal) & Ashleigh Landrigan; siblings, Tiffany Thompson (Tiffany), Chris Coyne (Krystle), Shannon Coyne (Brandon), Shaun Coyne, Lauren Zentz (Will), Gabby Roush & Susan Roush; 10 ½ grandchildren, Athena, Katana, Killian, Jaxson, Colton, Liam, Emmy, Hayden, Lilah, Aria & Ivan (due to be born in October, 2019); and by his extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Masonic Blue Lodge service will follow at 7:00 p.m. and Widows Sons Motorcycle Group service at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday (7/18) at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Coyne (Jonathan’s brother) officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia.
