The Lundy family moved to the Arm Lake area from Innisfail, Alberta in 1910. In the spring or early summer of 1911, she contracted typhoid fever and died. As was her wish, her husband George buried her on the highest hill overlooking Arm Lake.

It was her wish to be buried high on the hillside overlooking Arm Lake. A grandson was buried beside her in 1914, a son of Bill's. Head-stones mark the graves.
