He is preceded in death by his father Darrell Wayne Leach.
David was always interested in history and loved to cook. He was a faithful Indianapolis Colts fan and will be remembered for his sense of humor. Above all of this, David loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
David is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rena Stephens Leach; daughter, Michelle (Gerald) Reed; son, Justin Leach; mother, Judy Bell; siblings, Cathy Koerber, Chris (Janet) Leach and Danny "Dano" (Tina) Leach; grandchildren, Adrian and Adyen Reed; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
