Katie L. Taylor, age 84, of Tarrytown, died Friday, July 12, 2019 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was a native of the Johnson Corner Community, lived in Vidalia most of her life and in Treutlen County for the past ten years. She lived in Valdosta Baxley for several years, and while living in Valdosta, she was foreman of Vallatons Dairy. She worked at Oxford Industries for twenty years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Duncan Taylor and Lily Maude Wilcher Taylor; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

Ms. Taylor is survived by two children, Margie Brown Page and husband Jeff of Tarrytown, and Roy Brown and wife Teresa of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren, Jeffery Page and wife Michelle of Treutlen County, Linda Vazquez of Reidsville, Steve Page and wife Karrie, and Derek Page and wife Christina, all of Treutlen County; eleven great-grandchildren, Chad, Slelby, Brooke, Rebecca, Kim, Clay, J.P., Ryan, Abby, Caroline, and Junior; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 15th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Plowman officiating. Burial will follow in Precious Memories Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
