Daughter of the late Carl S. and Audrey D. (Schnell) Buchanan. She worked for the Licking County Auditor as a Deputy Auditor for 21 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Franklin. She is survived by her three daughters, Tracy (Rob) Wertz of Altoona, PA, Michelle McPeek and Dawn (Rich) McPeek-Bowser, both of Newark; eleven grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Logan, Aren, Audra, Lana, Cookie, Chasidy, Sadee, Joshua and Tyler; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Jackson of Gahanna.
