Obituary for James Eric Arthur
Our precious son, brother and father, James Eric Arthur , 42, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born December 24, 1976 in Beckley, WV he was the son of Katie and Roger Hewitt of Oak Hill and James and Vicky Arthur of North Carolina.

Eric, known as Bones, was a 1995 graduate of Oak Hill High School and attended Mountain State University. At a very young age he stated working at White Oak Lanes. He was a former fire fighter and worked in car sales and security.

He loved WVU and UVA football and spending time at the family camp on the Greenbrier River..

In addition to his parents, Bones is survived by a daughter, Katelyn Arthur of Oak Hill; stepdaughter, whom he raised, Dominick Arbogast of Fayetteville; brother, Roger (Evelyn) Hewitt, Jr.; sister, Tammy (Felipe) Rizo; step-sisters, Melissa and Beth; step-brother, Tracy; the mother of his children, Crystal Arbogast; two cousins who were like brothers, Brandon Srednicki and Chad Williams; special nieces, Ella Zayne, Savannah and Louella; dear friends, George and Raine Neff and Bob and Gail Brogan; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and of course, Rezan.

Services will be on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Lum Toney officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
