Karl Glen retired as the owner and operator of Shamrock Inn in Walton. He had a special love for horses; he showed horses at the local county fairs and in general, just loved people! He made a profession of faith many years ago at Morgan Christian Church, where he was still a member at the time of his death.
Survivors include two daughters: Lisa Pyle of Arizona, Shawnna (Pat) Morgan of Independence, KY; one brother: Judge Executive Gary Wayne (Linda) Moore of Burlington, KY; one niece: Brandi (Jason) Moore List of California; one nephew: Gary "Scott" (Erikka) Moore of Florence, KY one step-brother: Phillip (Donna) Lewis of Florida; two step-sisters: Sherry (Charles) Meridth of Florida, Diana (Jim) Mullins of Boone Co., KY and an aunt: Jane Whaley Stahl of Falmouth. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. He was preceded in death by a step-sister: Phyllis Lewis Jones.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 17 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 and go until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery in Pendleton County.
