Glenda Faye Hamilton, age 71, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home. She was born January 26, 1948 in Jackhorn, Kentucky to the late Eugene and Mildred (McCall) Brown. She was a graduate of Whitesburg, Ky. High School.
Glenda married Kelly E. Hamilton, Jr. on October 8, 1966. Prior to her retirement in 2006 Glenda was a long-time dietary assistant at Hancock Regional Hospital. Glenda was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed her family immensely and loved to shop.
She is survived by her sons, Kelly E. (Lorrie) Hamilton III, Steven L. (Jasmine) Hamilton: daughter, Shannon (Bill) Henderson; sister, Peggy (Tom) Blevins; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; husband, Kelly E. Hamilton, Jr. and brother, Teddy Brown.
