William Forrest Hill, Sr., age 68 of Conyers, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Miriam Hill, and brother, Danny Hill. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan Hill; children, Forrest Jr. and Julie Hill, Michael and Maryann Hill, Max Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Fran Hill, Stanley and Pat Hill; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Kayla, Brianna, Alex, Nathan; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Gabriella, Piper, Francesca; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Hill retired from Sears and Roebuck. He was a musician and had a band named 'The Gang of 5'. Forrest was a lover of music, an avid story teller, a fisherman, a gardner, and a manager with a bright mind. Forrest loved the Lord. He was a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather and a friend. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Drucker officiating; interment will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Decatur, Georgia. Body will lie in state beginning at 10 a.m. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
