Morris was born in 1930 to the late Joseph & Thelma Evans in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Faye Evans.
He served in the Korean War and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an electronic technician after 32 years. He was a member of the Candies Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Square Dance Caller Association.
He is survived by his three sons, Randall (wife) Evans of Panama, Keith (Carol) Evans of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Kelly (Susan) Evans of Apison, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sean Evans, Derek Evans, Justin Evans, Faye Evans, Ethan Evans, Victoria Evans, Anna Evans, Katie Evans, Faith Evans; great-grandchildren, Alesia Evans, Elan Evans; and sister, Doris (John) Turnham of Nashville, Tennessee.
