Scott L. Barclay, 45, of 38115 8th Ave. S., Roy, died Friday.
He was born in Paul, Idaho, and had resided in the Tacoma area since 1961. He was the owner-operator of Barclay Welding & Automotive. He was a Mason and a member of the Parkland Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was a retired Army warrant officer and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by his wife, Hermine; two daughters, Cindy R. Barclay and Helen Campbell, both of Tacoma; a son, Richard S. of the home; a brother, Daniel of Price, Utah; a sister, Janet Peterson of Schafter, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held on 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Parkland Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 112th and 17th Avenue East, with Bishop Darrell Wright officiating. Under the direction of Mountain View Funeral Home. Interment in Mountain View Memorial Park. Military honors at graveside by the U.S. Army. Pallbearers: Olen Johnson, Clair Daly, Elvin McCormick, James McFayden, Kenney Hughes, Orville Baily. Honorary pallbearers: Richard Barclay, John Barclay, Samuel Campbell, Daniel Barclay, Michael Barclay, Martin Barclay, David Barclay, James Barclay, Douglas Barclay, Bryan Barclay, Scott Peterson.
