Mayo Turman, 69, of 6707 Calumet died Thursday, Nov. 24, 1988.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel with Bishop Kerry Ormson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Turman was born in Pampa, and had been a resident of Amarillo for 51 years. He was a retired conductor for Santa Fe Railway. He was in the Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of United Transportation Union. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, Rick Turman of Amarillo; two daughters, Sharon Harrison and Rhonda Leveritt, both of Amarillo; a sister,Catherine Baugus of Andrews; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
