She retired from Greene Valley Development Center where she began to work shortly after her graduation from St. James High School. Brenda retired early to care for her father and mother. This was a trait of Brenda to be a devoted and loving caregiver to many individuals throughout her lifetime.
The Meadow Creek Community was where she spent much of her life on the family farm. It was there she developed a love of animals, gardening, cooking and growing plants and flowers. Beautiful flowers were a special passion for her. Riding horses was a favorite pastime, she loved to ride and enjoyed participating in wagon train journeys.
Brenda is survived by several cousins: Terry and Brenda Cannon, Susie and Sam Cogdell, Sherry and Gene Lamb, Jerry and Helen Neas, John and Barbara Miller, Doug and Frances Miller, Ron and Carol Robeson, and Ned and Donna Sanders, as well as many other family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father Rufus "Rusty" Miller and mother, Ernestine Neas Miller and an infant brother.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:30 pm for the graveside service officiated by the Rev. Larry Moore.
