Harold Wayne McCoy, age 56, of Morrilton, passed away at his home on July 10, 2019. He was born January 26, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri to Junior Harold McCoy and Addie Scroggins McCoy. Harold was of the Church of Christ Faith, a truck driver, worked at Coca-Cola, for Bill Vint and Jimmie Carter Trucking, and a volunteer fireman. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his uncle and namesake, Jim Wayne Scroggins. Survivors besides his mother, are three daughters, Elizabeth Meek (Jonathan) of Malvern, Kendra McCoy of Morrilton, and Casey Sanborn (Lawrence) of Pottsville; one son, Zachary Scott of Morrilton; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Donald McCoy of Hattieville and James McCoy (Donna) of Oppelo; one sister, Terri McCoy Nelson (Michael) of Morrilton; his special caregiver and aunt Kathleen “Nima” McCoy of Morrilton. Other survivors include uncles and aunts, Willie Scroggins, David Scroggins (Janie), Billy McCoy (Ruth), Betty Collins, and Nova Scroggins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13th, at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge with Brother Jim Huffman officiating.
