Emily Diana Griffin passed away June 5, 2019, in Westwood, California.
Emily was born October 3, 1982, in Susanville, CA. She attended local schools and graduated from Lassen Union High School with the class of 2000. She served in the U.S. Navy and worked for SEMSA as an EMT. She also worked part time in the nursing program at Lassen College.
Survivors include her four children, Dominic and Lillian Smith, Sophie and Scarlett Griffin. Her parents, Tom and Amy Smith, of Reno, NV., Sisters: Kimberly (Eric) Duerksen, of Susanville, Faye-Dawn (Blake) Orullian, of Taylorsville, Utah, and Cassandra Smith, of Saratoga Springs, Utah. Brothers Trevor Smith of Brookings, South Dakota and Geoffrey Smith (Kaylene), of Reno, NV. Also numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 905 Richmond Rd. In Susanville, CA. A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM with services at 11:00 AM.
