Paula attended Southport High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1963. She was employed with Eli Lilly and Company as a marketing specialist for 38 years, retiring in 2004. She was a long-time member of One Christian Church (formerly Southport Baptist Church) where she sang in the choir as well as being a member of the Ladies Club. Paula was also a member of the Ya-Ya Club. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Tennessee, to visit family and enjoyed watching football especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Paula was also a racing fan and enjoyed both Indy Car and NASCAR. She deeply loved her grandchildren and cherished the time they were together.
Paula is survived by her granddaughters, Jessica A. Jarosinski and Kalynn M. Beard; two great-grandchildren; her nephews and their spouses, Douglas and Jackie Parrish and their children and Darren and Linda Parrish and their children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her son, Craig S. Beard and her daughter, Cassandra S. Jarosinski as well as a sister, Pattie Sue Parrish.
