Patricia Ann Briley, 73, of Bluewell, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at her home.
Ann was born on May 22, 1946 in Coaldale. She was raised by her beloved parents, Hobert and Effie Belcher of Coaldale. Ann was a lifelong resident of Bluewell. Her greatest joy was babysitting her grandchildren, tending to her flower gardens, and helping her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Hitt-Reedy.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Judy Murray and husband Mike of Penhook, VA, a son, Chris Briley and wife Tammy of Bluefield, VA; daughter, Rebecca Copley and husband Patrick of Bluewell; daughter, Brittany Hitt and companion Jamie Umberger of Bluewell; sisters, Nancy Minnix and Tammy Minnix of Montcalm, Sue Sawyers of Coopers. In addition to her family, she had some special friends and neighbors, Jack Foster, Rusty and Sue Gaither, and Glenna Blevins.
Her grandchildren are Brandon Jones and wife Temera, Cody Copley, Kristin Copley, and companion Tanner Beggs, Dominick Briley and wife Stacy, Devon Briley and companion Kasity Hall, Dakota Murray, Chrissy Bircham and companion Jeb Belcher.
Her great grandchildren are Izah Hitt, Brayden Briley, Jameson Umberger, Willow Jones, Landon Belcher, TJ Olivo, and Jonathan Trout.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Chris Briley, Brandon Jones, Cody Copley, Dominick Briley, Devon Briley, Jamie Umberger, and Patrick Copley will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Saturday, prior to services, from 10:00-12:00 at the funeral home.
