Christopher T. Stroud 48, Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in his home, surrounded by his loving family after a 18 year illness. Born August 17, 1970 in Belvidere, IL to Jimmie and Sharon (Sauer) Stroud. He lived most of his life in the Rockford area. Married Gina M. Kozial on April 9, 2019 in Rockford. Chris was formerly a Operations Specialist in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife Gina; mother, Sharon Stroud; daughter, Jaydyn Stroud; sisters, Glori Ann Stroud and Trish Coe; brother, David Stroud; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Billy King and Pat Dietz; predeceased by his father, Jimmie Stroud.

Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Anderson-Long-Klontz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 6825 Weaver Road.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to his family in loving memory of “Chris".

In attending the visitation, his family encourages the wearing of Chicago Cubs or Dallas Cowboys apparel.
