Jason W. “J Bob” Blankenship of Stanfield, Oregon, was born on October 12, 1977 in Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Gordon and Molly Jones Blankenship. He died on March 20, 2018 in Stanfield, Oregon at the age of 40 years. Jason lived his entire life in Stanfield, Oregon. He worked at Noland Door Company in Hermiston, Oregon. Jason belonged to Outback Customs and the Brotherhood United Motorcycle Association in Hermiston. He loved his family first but, was always willing to jump in and help everyone he could. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching, riding motorcycles, and loved watching his kids play sports. He has touched the hearts of many and leaves a huge hole in the community.

He is survived by his son: Makiah Blankenship, daughters: Mikenzie & Cierra Blankenship; parents: Gordon & Molly Blankenship; brother: Curtis Blankenship; grandparents: Betty Tucker, Mabel Jones and James Thomason; 2 nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents: Samuel Blankenship, Patricia Thomason, Gary Jones and Larry Tucker.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Stanfield High School Gymnasium, Stanfield, Oregon.

Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfield, Oregon.
