Mr. Burke was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Burke retired from the Navy in September, 1975 with over 21 years of service as an E-7 Store Keeper Chief, receiving numerous commendations and medals.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Burke and brother, Jack Burke.
He is survived by his three sons; three sisters; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
