Inez M. Green, 73, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 6:23 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at home.

Inez was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 2, 1941 to Walter J. and Olive L. (Raab) Hagen. She married Robert “Auggie” Green on December 19, 1962. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2009.

Inez was a homemaker and retired from the Salvation Army, where she had worked for approximately nine years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper. She enjoyed gardening, including vegetable and flower gardening, quilting, cooking, playing bingo, watching hummingbirds, and she loved the outdoors.

She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Green of Jasper; three sons, Wayne Green, Jeff Green,and his partner Laura Mattingly, and Bradley Green and his wife Brenda, all of Jasper; one grandson, Dalton Green; two sisters, Iscelean Riddle of Decatur, Ill. and Marie Lemond of Campbellstown, Ind.

Preceding her in death beside her husband is one brother, Harry Hagen.

Funeral services for Inez M. Green will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date. Pastor Jim Neely will officiate.
