Mrs. Veronica V. (Kelly) Lambert, 90, a lifelong resident of Groveland, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday Feb. 10, 2007, with her family by her side at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill, Mass.

She was born in Groveland, Massachusetts, on Sept. 12, 1916, daughter of the late Michael J. and Catherine (Noonan) Kelly.

Mrs. Lambert attended Groveland schools and worked at various jobs including map making during WWII in Washington, DC, First National Grocery, Cannon's Market and Chesterton's of Groveland.

Mrs. Lambert was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Church in So. Groveland. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was involved in Groveland baseball for many years with her husband and loved playing cards with family and friends. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with children and grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Rudolph J. Lambert, who died in 1988 and was survived by her 3 sons Alfred A. and his wife Sandra of Groveland, John J. and his wife Nancy of Saco, ME, and Kevin C. and his wife Ginny of Franklin, NC, daughters Elaine M. Holroyd of Nashua, NH, Virginia A. and her husband Joseph Dion, of West Ossipee, NH, Barbara A. Praiano of Haverhill, Mary M. and her husband Joseph Consoli of Danbury, CT, and Veronica V. Greene and Shawn Savage of Groveland, 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving sister Agnes Kelly, with whom she resided of Groveland, and her brother Leo D. Kelly and his wife Alice of Elizabeth City, NC.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary Devery, and her brothers, Michael, John and Clement Kelly.

Calling hours at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St. Bradford will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm.

Burial: James Cemetery, Haverhill, Mass.
