Maura Brennan Dixon, 62, passed away September 23, 2018. A loving mother, grandmother, wife and sister, she has been reunited with those who have preceded her: twin sister, Margie Brennan Duffy, sister, Ann Brennan Graff, brother, Bobby Brennan and her parents. Maura is survived by her husband, Stevan Dixon, Sr.; brother Brian Brennan; daughter Amy Burst Moseley; son Jim Burst; in-law children Steve Moseley and Jaelyn Burst; and grandchildren Cameron Burst, Zoe Burst, Stephen Moseley, Carly Moseley and Emma Moseley; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Maura, a native and resident of Jefferson Parish most of her life, attended St. Louis King of France and Archbishop Chapelle; she resided near Chattanooga, TN since 2006. Maura is remembered for her unselfish kindness and genuine compassion for others. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Maura's life on October 16, 2018. Visitation will be at Greenwood Funeral Home at 11 am
