Sue Wright, 71, of Spring Valley and formerly of Princeton, died unexpectedly in her home on June 21, 2019.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Pastor Hector Castillo officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 4 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday and 9:00 AM Thursday until time of services.
Sue was born in Princeton on March 21, 1948 to Lee and Yvonne (Critchfield) Wright.
Sue taught dance and tumbling and owned her own studio, Wright’s School of Dance in Princeton. She also was a retired school bus driver for Putnam and La Salle County schools. She was an artist, doll maker and grandma and friend to everyone. Sue was a foster parent to many children.
Sue is survived by two daughters, Kris (Cole) Huettemann and Melody (Jeremy) Wrotny; one son Mark Wright; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Madison, Alicia, Autumn, Kendryn, Morgan, Kaleb, Izaiah, Camaron, Ethan, Micah, Mikayla, Levi, Ainsley, Charleigh, Hattie, Bennett, Ashlynn, Jasher, Ezra, and Oliver and daughter-in-law, Tanya Wright.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Wright; her parents and one son, Rick Wright.
