Helen had a lifelong love of teaching music and directing choirs. She was also an organist and took great pride in sharing her talent with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hugh Pickering and several other extended family members. Survived by her sons, Hugh, Clay, Jeff and John Pickering, daughter, Karen Featheringill, 16 grand children, several great-grand children and other extended family members.
