Paul Marcus Tucker, age 80, of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2017. He was born in Union County on November 27, 1937, son of the late Norman Jack and Carrie Tucker. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Marion, Gerald and Ben Tucker. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elsie Tucker; his sons, Frankie Tucker and Jeffrey Tucker; his three sisters, Carolyn Harrington, Kathy Eason and Dolly Smith; and his brother, Tommy Tucker.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate Paul's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. in McEwen's Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
