EL CAMPO - Juana Delgado Acuna, 83, of Markham died Thursdcay at her residence following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Robert's Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Matula officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Memorial Park under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.

A rosary was recited Friday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Acuna was born Jan. 26, 1906, in Goliad to the late Ignacio and Gregoria Salinas Delgado. A resident of Markham for 50 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel Acuna of Markham; four daughters, Maria Gonzales and Paula Vega, both of El Camp, Adelfa Sanchez of Markham and Sulema Ramos of Eagle Lake; seven sons, Manuel Acuna of Garwood, Rafael Acuna and Benito Acuna, both of Danevang, Jesus Acuna of Wichita Falls, Alfredo Acuna of Midfield, and Martin Acuna and Jose Acuna, both of Bay City; two brothers, Joe Delgado of El Campo and Thomas Delgado of Danevang; 45 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
